With over 40 years of carnival experience, she was seen joyfully waving a flag that read, “Early detection saves lives.” Lisa, who discovered a lump in her breast before the Miami Carnival in 2022, emphasized the importance of health awareness while celebrating life.

“Jamaicans have welcomed me with open arms,” she said, beaming with joy. “This Carnival is a ten out of ten experience! It’s not just about the party; it’s about community and support.”

Boosting Tourism and the Local Economy
