1664 x CLOT Textile Co. Pop-up

Drinking beer is hip again as Carlsberg Singapore’s premium beer brand 1664 partners up with the Edison Chen-founded urban fashion brand CLOT to present a collaboration line of limited-edition caps, tote bags, ceramic tumblers, and t-shirts. To celebrate this regional partnership, there’ll be a 1664 x CLOT Textile Co. pop-up, a fabric shop-inspired speakeasy this April 2025, at Plaza Singapura’s outdoor atrium, for a limited time. Each registered guest will receive a complimentary glass of 1664 to enjoy at the pop-up and a special gift upon completion of the experience. Visitors can also participate in activities via the 1664 Journey Postcard – collecting stamps by completing the interactive activities to unlock exclusive rewards.

Attendees can also snap photos, browse exclusive merchandise and 1664 drink displays, and design a personalised AI-generated 1664 x CLOT digital avatar. With a minimum spend of $30, visitors can receive a complimentary fabric coaster, with three designs to select from and name personalisation available. Poof Café Pop-up at Nespresso ION Orchard and Nespresso Boutique Café

Just in time for Spring, Nespresso has launched a new limited-edition flavoured coffee: White Chocolate and Strawberry (S$15 for a single pack of 10 capsules), available in the Vertuo range. This coffee is a luxurious indulgence, featuring delectable whorls of white chocolate and juicy strawberry notes that create a pleasing balance of sweetness and intensity. To celebrate this launch, Nespresso enlists local content creator Chiara Ang, owner of home-based Poof Café, to craft an irresistible recipe, White Chocolate Strawberry Cloud Macchiato, featuring the White Chocolate and Strawberry blend. Taste of COMO – Tuscany Edition

The COMO Group’s culinary realm often brings the best of the world’s cuisine to Singapore. This April 2025, savour the finest Tuscany dishes at the ‘Taste of COMO’ pop-up event. Chef Giovanni Luca Di Pirro of Michelin-starred La Torre in Tuscany will be in residence from 24 to 27 April, presenting a selection of authentic Tuscan classics that celebrate spring’s exceptional ingredients, accompanied by a curation of wines that reflect the region’s rich winemaking heritage. HighHouse x Michelin-starred Chef Daniele Sperindio Collaboration

Nightlife and culinary destination HighHouse has begun its first-of-three chef collaboration limited series, starting with Chef Daniele Sperindio of Art di Daniele Sperindio fame, to reinterpret HighHouse’s Pan-Asian culinary foundation. Inspired by the lively atmosphere at HighHouse, Chef Daniele curated dishes that are Italian at heart but fun, with flavours that pay tribute to Singapore. This collaboration occurs while the chef is in the process of reopening his restaurant at a new location. Highlights include Chilled somen with broth made from watermelon rinds and vegan fish sauce (Summer in Seoul), a Crispy cheese-based waffle with artichoke aioli and bresaola (DIY), Pasta sauced in black lime and parmesan rinds, scallops and Italian furikake (Cacio E Peppe Di Mare Tutte Bucce), and an Ice Kachang-inspired dessert with burrata cream, banana nectar ice, and adzuki (From Singapore with Love). Flavours of Tomorrow Festival

Singapore’s first alternative food festival, The Flavours of Tomorrow Festival, returns end April 2025 to spotlight the vibrant world of alternative cuisine. Specialty alternative food brands and eco-conscious businesses will unveil their unique culinary inventions in pursuit of Singapore’s ambitious 30 by 30 food sustainability goal. Expect plant-forward food booths showcasing eat-free alternatives like famous meatless burgers from Goodburger, proprietary plant-based shawarmas by Shandi Global, vegan and keto treats by Jammy’s Gelato, Kind Bowl’s unique walnut pâté banh mi, and a herbivore’s reimagining of 8Degrees’ popular braised beef and pork rice bowls.

There will also be a sustainable retail market featuring more than 20 retail booths showcasing sustainable options from food to clothing to household items. Attendees can sample groundbreaking food innovations, including Tom Yum Crickets, Cacao-free milk chocolate, and Singapore’s home-grown strawberries. Other activities at the festival include educational engagements like live chef demonstrations and exclusive engaging talks curated and organised by BLOCK71 and Innovate360 that spotlight food innovation and eco-culinary practices in F&B. Sakura Display at Gardens by the Bay

Who said Singapore didn’t have cherry blossoms? Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of sakuras at Gardens by the Bay, which offers a chance for you to see (and smell) real cherry trees amidst Japanese-inspired displays like glowing bamboo lanterns, as well as Kyushu’s majestic Kokura Castle and Fukuoka Castle’s Phantom Tower installations. The month-long event will feature the largest number and widest variety of cherry blossom trees, featuring species like the kawazu-zakura, which boasts distinctly pink blooms. Miffy’s Garden at Changi Airport

There’s a new critter that’s taken over Singapore’s Changi Airport. Walking in the footsteps of Hello Kitty and her other Sanrio friends is Dutch rabbit Miffy, who is celebrating her 70th birthday with Miffy’s Garden at Changi Airport. Located at Terminal 3 Departure Hall, expect a giant installation of the bunny next to a colourful hot air balloon, surrounded by a sea of red and yellow tulips. Kids who need to blow off some steam before their flight will love Miffy’s Playground, an inflatable playland with a ball pit. For limited edition merchandise and more photo ops, head to the basement of the same terminal, where you’ll find a pop-up offering both.

Return of the Regional Hawker Showcase at Raffles Singapore Courtyard

Returning for its second iteration, Raffles Courtyard and Makansutra come together once again to jointly present a brand-new series of six incredible regional hawkers hailing from different corners of Southeast Asia, each of whom will showcase beloved specialty dishes and flavours that are deeply rooted in the traditions of their hometowns. Each regional hawker instalment will be exclusively available for one week, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm and 5:00pm to 9:00pm daily. For April 2025, savour the hearty and flavourful Kansi, a beef shank soup that spotlights the batwan fruit, native to the city of Bacolod in the Philippines. Prepared by Nico Millanes, who currently helms Portiko – a café specialising in dishes of the coastal Negros Island, find comfort in this homely stew. Kansi (meaning ‘beef shank’ in their native Ilonggo tongue) features tender bites of braised beef shank simmered with stewed young jackfruit in a rich broth. The orange-hued broth is a sumptuous reduction of beef, annatto seeds, and tangy batwan fruit, offering a beautiful expression of Bacolod fare. FRAMED: A Murder Mystery in National Gallery Singapore

Discover art through a new lens via gamification. Partnering with HIDDEN, an award-winning experiences company specialising in immersive games, National Gallery Singapore launched a new AI chatbot-based game which invites visitors to discover art in a new and interactive way. Participants can delve into a thrilling murder mystery adventure to solve puzzles, uncover hidden secrets, and discover how art can shape, obscure, or reveal one’s identity. Through the self-guided, interactive game hosted on WhatsApp, players can navigate at their own pace while diving into the exciting narrative. This seeks to bring a unique experience in exploring the exhibitions at National Gallery Singapore.
